WordPress Speed Optimization
$250 USD
3 to 5 days
Stores and marketing sites where slow load is the last blocker before scaling ad spend.
“Every second your site takes to load, another buyer bounces. Not metaphor, measurable.”
One second of extra load kills 7% of conversions. On a $30k a month store that is $2,100 gone every month, quietly.
The specific things this fixes.
Four causes of slow sites, ranked by how much revenue they quietly cost.
Page-builder bloat: 12 script tags, 3 sliders, 4MB of unused CSS.
Full-resolution product images served to mobile.
No caching, no CDN, shared hosting from 2019.
Third-party scripts (chat, tracking, popups) blocking the main thread.
What is included.
Every line is written into the scope document before we sign. Nothing added later without your say-so.
Lighthouse & Core Web Vitals audit
Real numbers on mobile and desktop, with the top ten offenders ranked.
Image & asset pipeline
WebP and AVIF, responsive srcsets, lazy-loading, font subsetting and preloading.
Script diet
Defer, async, remove unused scripts, replace heavy third parties with lighter ones.
Caching + CDN
Full-page cache, object cache where it helps, Cloudflare or BunnyCDN at the edge.
Database cleanup
Post revisions, transients, orphaned rows, spam, gone.
Before and after report
Signed-off Lighthouse and CrUX proof, the graph you send to your team.
The process.
Most speed jobs take 3 to 5 days. Nothing changes on your live site until it has been tested on a copy.
Speed test
I measure the site in PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix, plus Google's real user Core Web Vitals, on mobile and desktop, and record the starting scores.
Backup and staging
A full backup is taken and the work happens on a staging copy, so your live site and your visitors are never affected.
Images and fonts
Images are compressed, served as WebP and lazy loaded. Fonts are trimmed and hosted locally so text shows up faster.
Plugins, CSS and JavaScript
Unused plugins are removed, and CSS and JavaScript are minified, deferred or delayed so the page shows content sooner.
Caching and CDN
Page and browser caching are set up, the database is cleaned, and a CDN like Cloudflare is connected where it helps.
Before and after report
Every page is checked for layout problems, then the changes go live and you get the before and after scores side by side.
